About

Helping Others Since 1994

My name is Ray and for the past 25 years, I’ve been shipping containers of aid across the globe, helping children and communities in some of the most disadvantaged parts of the world.

I've been a gold miner for the last 40 years, mostly in the Yukon, I was born in British Columbia Canada and when I was 9 years old my family moved to the South Pacific Islands of Fiji and Tonga and then to Central America as volunteers in the local schools. I went to the local schools, learning the language and living an incredibly adventurous life as a kid. When I wasn’t in school or working, I spent my days wandering the jungle on my horse, exploring caves, climbing on top of the Mayan Ruins, finding artifacts or swimming in the River.

About Partners For Others

Our warehouse in British Columbia is full of more than 250,000 lbs of items, like wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, new and good used clothing, construction nails, dehydrated soup mix for orphan care, school books, shoes, bibles, toys, medical supplies and so much more. We are looking for donations to help support our efforts in shipping these items overseas.

We are currently working in Swaziland, Lesotho, Fiji, Belize, Costa Rica, Solomon Islands and Ukraine

Our Projects

  • Fiji

We started in 1994 in the Islands of the South Pacific, shipping in containers of aid to Fiji and other Pacific Islands. We organized to send a container with a small tractor, bakery, a small sawmill and a welder so that the school could have a secondary income other than just school fees and so that the kids could learn how to bake bread, weld, cut lumber from the trees in the forest behind the school, make furniture, and plant commercial gardens.

  • Swaziland

We started working in Southern Africa in the spring of 2006. We started by shipping in 40 ft shipping containers full of all kinds of items needed to help with the orphan crisis due to AIDS. Swaziland has over 40% HIV and this has left over 100,000 orphans to try and fend for themselves. Our focus has been to help them with their immediate physical needs and then try to address some long term solutions to their problem.

  • Lesotho

We work in partnership with Phelisanong in Lesotho by providing shipments of clothing, tools, medical supplies, food and other goods to the center. The Centre provides a home, family, and community for people living with various mental and physical disabilities, HIV/AIDS, and other chronic illnesses, and orphans.
